　　At the beginning of August 2022, Zhongxing Environmental Protection, as the first carbon emission reduction project for plastic recycling in China, successfully completed the registration and issuance of the certified carbon standard VCS in Verra, which is a third-party organization in the United States.

　　Currently VCS is the most influential voluntary certified emission reduction standard for greenhouse gases internationally, which allows projects have been certified to convert their greenhouse gas reduction and removal into tradable carbon credits.

　　Zhongxing Environmental Protection has made considerably reduction of greenhouse gas emission by reducing fuels and energy consumption in the process of using recycled PET instead of virgin PET.

　　The project certified by authoritative institutions has generated a total of 49,582 tons of emission reduction during the first monitoring period (2020-2021), and has been successfully sold out recently.
