A News Conference titling Focus on Recycled Functional Fibers, Create a Green & Livable World was held at Shanghai International Exhibition Center on Mar. 16th, 2017. The event was sponsored by China Chemical Fiber Industry Association, Textile Trend Research Office of CCFIA, the National Textile & Chemical Fiber R&D Center and Jiangsu Zhongyuan Industrial Group Co., Ltd. Zhongyuan has been engaged in research and development of recycled fibers and functional fiber long ago. It has achieved breakthroughs in many aspects and has made outstanding contributions to the green and sustainable development of the recycled chemical fiber industry, said Jiang Shicheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Mr. Jiang emphasized that recycled functional chemical fiber material is among one of the seven strategic emerging industries and one of ten fields prioritized by Made In China 2025, which gives impetus to the transformation and upgrading of textile industry. Enterprises shall develop more products which is green, low carbon, low energy consumption and environmental protection. They should set foot on the road of high quality, high efficiency, low consumption, pollution-free and sustainable development, said Jiang.
